Yes - it's absolutely a fulfilling career path if you want to live a laptop lifestyle, have unlimited earning potential and time freedom while making an impact around the world. The coaching industry has been growing every year and is a multi-billion dollar industry that is estimated to keep growing. Especially with all the easily accessible technology; Zoom, Social Media, Cloud Storage etc., you can open up shop today and make money tomorrow.
However, it's not all glamorous as it appears. You need to know if it's right for you. Read on to explore what you should know about starting a coaching business.
I recommend first exploring why you want to do this. If it's to bring in more cash or be free to travel the world, you need to think beyond your immediate desires. Starting any business takes WORK and commitment beyond just making money. Do you like diving into people's lives and helping them overcome challenges? Do you want to leave an impact? Do you love it so much that you would do it for free? Pause and ask these fundamental questions. Follow your passions and use your area of expertise to help people, and if you don't have the skills, be prepared to get them.
You may be an excellent counsellor, advisor or consultant, but running a business is a whole different ballgame.
You're fooling yourself if you think all you have to do is Google "how to start a coaching business" and go.

You will need to come out from behind your logo and be willing to express yourself since people like to connect with real people.
